Children’s Sunday School

Mission Statement

The Sunday School Ministry of Community of Grace Church exists to glorify God through evangelizing children, encouraging parents, and edifying servants so that the gospel may be spread among our children, families may be supported, and the church may be strengthened.

Overview
Our Sunday School classes (for children age 3 through 6th grade) provide age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities that are both fun and spiritually rich. The children learn about the character of God, the work of Christ, and the means of living in right relationship to Him. This is accomplished by presenting the whole counsel of God and demonstrating to children the unity, consistency, and sufficiency of the Scriptures for their lives.

Each class is led by skilled teachers who are committed to communicating the truth of God’s Word clearly and make it applicational for the sake of the gospel. Each one strives to live a life of devotion to Christ so that he or she can set an example that is consistent with the Godly standards taught.

Our ultimate goal is to come alongside parents in fulfilling the command “to tell the generation to come the praises of the Lord and His strength and His wondrous works that He has done . . . that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children” (Psalm 78:4, 6).
